Where Sacred Legends Meet Timeless Landscapes

Day 01 – Airport ➝ Chilaw ➝ Dambulla ➝ Sigiriya

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our Sri Discovery Travels representative.
Proceed directly to Chilaw to visit key Ramayana sites:
- Munneswaram Temple – where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva to absolve Brahma Dosham.
- Manavari Temple – the first place where Lord Rama installed and worshipped the Shiva Lingam (Ramalingam).
Continue towards Dambulla.
Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site), believed to contain murals associated with the Ramayana era and Ravana legends.
Proceed to Sigiriya and check in at the hotel.
Dinner and Overnight stay in a 3-4 star hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 02 – Sigiriya ➝ Matale ➝ Kandy

Early morning climb of Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site), one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Proceed to Kandy.
En route, visit a Spice Garden in Matale, where guests can experience Sri Lanka’s ancient spice heritage referenced in traditional Ayurveda.
Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa) in the evening.
Enjoy a Kandy Cultural Dance Show.

Day 03 – Kandy ➝ Ramboda ➝ Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya via scenic hill-country roads.
En route visits include:
- Ramboda Waterfall
- Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple – Ramboda, believed to be a site where Lord Hanuman searched for Seetha Devi.
Visit a Tea Plantation & Factory to experience world-famous Ceylon Tea.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and enjoy a short city tour including Gregory Lake.

Day 04 – Nuwara Eliya Ramayana Trail Exploration

After breakfast, visit the most significant Ramayana sites in Sri Lanka:
- Seetha Amman Temple – believed to be the place where Seetha Devi was held captive.
- Ashok Vatika / Hakgala Botanical Garden – believed to be part of the Ashoka Grove.
- Gayathri Peedam – a sacred site associated with King Ravana’s yagna practices.
Return to the hotel for relaxation and leisure.
Dinner and Overnight stay in a 3-4 star hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 05 – Nuwara Eliya ➝ Ella

After breakfast, proceed to Ella.
En route, visit:
- Ravana Waterfall – associated with King Ravana.
In Ella, visit:
- Nine Arches Bridge, a colonial-era engineering marvel set amidst lush greenery.
Evening at leisure in Ella’s peaceful surroundings.

Day 06 – Ella ➝ Colombo

After breakfast, proceed to Colombo.
- Glass-bottom boat ride in Hikkaduwa to view the colorful coral reefs

- Whale Watching in Mirissa (seasonal activity, subject to weather conditions)
En route sightseeing through scenic landscapes (comfort stops as required).
