Day 01Arrival ➝ Dambulla ➝ Sigiriya

  • Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Sri Discovery Travels representative and begin your journey towards Sigiriya (Arrival is expected in the morning).
  • En route, visit the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring beautifully preserved cave shrines adorned with ancient murals and over 150 Buddha statues.
  • Continue to Sigiriya and check in to your hotel.
  • Dinner and Overnight stay in a 3–4-star hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 02Sigiriya ➝ Matale ➝ Kandy

  • Begin the day with an early morning climb of the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. Admire the ancient frescoes, landscaped water gardens, and panoramic views from the summit.
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast.
  • Thereafter, proceed to Kandy via Matale.
  • En route, visit a traditional spice garden in Matale, where you will learn about Sri Lanka’s world-famous spices and Ayurvedic herbs.
  • In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist shrines in the world.
  • Later, enjoy a vibrant traditional, cultural performance, showcasing Kandyan drumming, colorful costumes and thrilling fire acts.

Day 03Kandy ➝ Nuwara Eliya

Day 04Nuwara Eliya ➝ Colombo

  • After breakfast, visit one of the following attractions based on your preference:
    • Moon Plains – a scenic viewpoint offering sweeping landscapes and wildlife sightings.
    • Victoria Park – a beautifully maintained city park ideal for a relaxing walk.
    • Hakgala Botanical Garden – a serene highland garden linked to the Ramayana Trail, believed to be part of the legendary Ashok Vatika mentioned in the epic.
  • Stop at the iconic Nuwara Eliya Post Office, a charming colonial-era building perfect for photographs.
  • Thereafter, transfer to Colombo.

Day 05Colombo City Tour ➝ Departure
